Terms and Conditions
Fees - Fees are invoiced monthly in advance and are payable by the 10th of the month to which they relate. Fees remain payable if your child is absent. The fees include drinks and snacks. There is an additional fee for lunch and / or tea if required. We accept childcare vouchers from your employer
Late Payment - A late fee charge will be made and additional charge may be made for the administration involved in collecting late or unpaid fees. If fees remain outstanding beyond two weeks of the due date, we reserve the right to exclude the child from Pj’s Childcare and to cancel the child's place.
Absences - If your child is likely to be absent, please notify Pj’s Childcare by 9am with the reason for the absence and the expected date of return.
Cancellation or reduction in hours - Pj’s Childcare must be notified in writing at least four weeks in advance if you wish to withdraw your child or reduce his/her hours of attendance.
Refunding of fees- Fees will not be refunded should Pj’s Childcare be forced to close due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. snow.
Settling In - Children and parents are encouraged to attend a settling in period prior to your child’s start date. This will enable you and your child to familiarise yourself with Pj’s Childcare.
Special Diets - Where possible we will cater for children with special/medical dietary needs.
Allergies - Pj’s Childcare must be made aware if your child has an allergy or intolerance to certain foods etc.
Toileting - Parents/carers of children not yet completely toilet trained are required to provide sufficient disposable nappies, cleaning wipes and creams for each day.
Clothing - Pj’s Childcare requires that each child is provided with a complete change of clothes. Aprons are provided for messy activities but inevitably children will transfer some of these materials to themselves and their clothes. Pj’s Childcare will accept no liability for clothing damaged or lost.
Sickness - In order to reduce the risk of cross infection, your child must be kept at home if she/he is showing signs of diarrhoea, vomiting or any contagious/infectious illness, and for the following 48 hours.
Medicines - To have medicine administered, you will be required to complete a Medication form. Pj’s Childcare make every endeavour to follow your instructions but reserve the right to refuse a request to administer medicines whilst a child is in our care.
Collection of a child - Only the parent/carer known to us or persons authorised in writing in advance by you will be able to collect your child from Pj’s Childcare. They must provide the pre agreed password.
Safeguarding - It is our duty as childcare practitioners to report to Children’s Services any incident where we consider there maybe a safeguarding issue.
Parent Meetings – We welcome your attendance at parent meetings which can be arranged throughout your child's time with us.
Safety - Please ensure that all doors and gates are closed after use.
Personal property- Pj’s Childcare cannot be held responsible or liable for any personal belongings that become lost or damaged.
You will be required to read and sign detailed Terms & Conditions BEFORE
your child attends Pj's.
