Opening Hours

At Pj's we provide care and education for young children from the age of 6 months and we are able to access all types of government-funded childcare support. 

Our flexible full-day care is available four days a week, 51 weeks a year, with attendance hours by individual arrangement.

Daily Routine

At Pj's we believe that the 'biological drive' for children to use their bodies and develop their physical skills is fundamental, not just for the development of muscles and joints but also for the development of the brain.

​Morning routine includes: 

Days of the week     Children consider what the weather is today & what they will need to wear.​

Warm up to learning     Children stretch before exercising in the garden & also cool down.​

Table top activities     Focused activities to develop holistic development with the children.​

Snack Time     Children decide on their snack from a selection of healthy options.​

Focused Topic Play     Children or adult led, indoors or outdoors play & can include a local walk.​

Lunch Time     Children take turns to hand out bibs and the water bottles

​Afternoon routine includes: 

Story Time     Children can select a book each for an adult to read from the weekly selection.​

Sleep or Quiet Time     Younger children can sleep while the older children have quiet time.​

Snack Time     Children decide on their snack from a selection of healthy options.

Child or Adult led Play     Children or adult led, indoors outdoors in the garden.​

Supper Time     Children take turns to hand out the bibs and the water bottles.
